Well what can I say! Amazing experience with BDS for sure! A massive, massive thankyou to Simon Anson- for teaching me what I lacked with driving, for the guidance where it was needed, for the encouragement, support, the confidence and hope you gave to me everyday and for dealing with the tears and anxiety along the way😂

My son passed first time with BDS. 20 hour intensive course over a week preceded by some home instruction had him driving within 90 days of his 17th birthday. Donna was a whizz at all of the bookings and administration whilst Simon was highly professional with a brand new car and turned up to each and every appointment bang on time. I can highly recommend BDS on this basis.

I undertook a 25 hour intensive course with Simon Anson of BDS, spread over 5 consecutive days with a practical test at the end, which I passed. I had had previous driving experience many years ago. Confidence issues had stopped me from taking the test back then, but Simon got me back up to speed immediately and by the end he had developed my confidence immeasurably. Simon's teaching style of practice makes perfect, anticipating the road and hazards ahead, and staying cool when things go wrong was the supportive environment I needed to flourish at driving. By the end of the week I was so confident that driving felt like second nature. I could not recommend BDS highly enough if you are looking at an intensive course as my experience was second to none. Huge thanks to Simon, but also to Donna, who took the time to listen to my situation at first point of contact. Pass or fail, BDS will look after you.

I was very nervous at first but Simon made me feel at ease straight away, Simon is one of best driving instructors I've ever been taught by specially on a crash course. I couldn't thank the man enough and couldn't recommend more then I can honestly 5 star all round experience 😁😁😁. Would highly recommend Simon without doubt 😁😁.

Amazing driving school I’ve Been trying to pass my driving for 7years with a different instructor I found BDS driving school only 4 days before my test was due and they have help me so so much that I’ve finally managed to pass my test Simon my instructor was amazing and very patient with me. I 100% recommend BDS driving school to anyone trying to get their licence.

Amazing stuff, had 12 hrs in total and past with 2 faults. Simon taught be pretty awesome stuff if honest. Good stuff keep it up!

I can’t recommend these enough, the tears the tantrums the panic attacks! The wanting to give up and Simon kept me strong kept me going. 20 hour intense course with an additional 3 hours and I passed on my 2nd attempt 100% recommend! The theory free app is amazing passed straight away with 50/50. The emotion support and the way I’ve been taught to drive is fantastic I honestly owe so much to Simon. I did the intense course just before Xmas with Simon and passed first time!! Would definitely recommend this course and Simon to anyone who is putting it off or feels nervous about driving!! Was the best thing I have done, for me and my two girls!!

Fantastic reliable service, great contact throughout with Donna and other team members both online and via the phone. Easy and secure pay method. As for Simon, great sense of humour and very patient, as I didn't pass first time - nerves - sigh. Cannot recommend enough, fit around my work schedule. I took the intensive course as a major refresher first then Simon organised the rest for me afterwards. Thank You so much, will highly recommend B.D.S to everyone!

Thank you so much to BDS and Simon for not only teaching me to drive but also for never doubting me, my nerves were shot to bits this morning before I took my test and Simon was brilliant at calming me down and giving the courage to believe I would be ok, its going to make my life so much easier for myself and my kids especially as my partner is away 90% of the time, so essentially I'm doing it on my own and driving will make every day life a lot easier, thank you so much I honestly couldn't be happier x

Had to leave a review about my driving instructor Simon!! I passed my test first time this week! Cannot recommend Simon enough! He is absolutely brilliant. I had no self confidence whatsoever, and lots of anxiety. Simon put me at ease from minute one! I’ve had a number of instructors , but Simon is the best instructor around!

Since the very beginning BDS have been great to work with, prompt in helping with queries and getting things arranged. I did a 30-hour intensive course with Liz and passed first time with 7 minors. While the title of the course ‘intensive’ does give away the fact it’s intense, I still underestimated how intense and tiring it would be - however, very much worth it. The progress I made just on the first day alone outweighed any of the previous experience I had through other instructors when doing weekly lessons. I think you rebound so much faster when making mistakes on this course as opposed to just doing weekly courses, and for this reason think it makes it a much more effective way to learn - given that you’re prepared for the intensity. Liz was wonderful throughout! She always arrived on time each morning and was chatty and friendly through all the sessions. I found the app she used on her iPad to explain certain roads and roundabouts helpful as I was able to visualise certain things before attempting them. I felt very comfortable with Liz and would definitely recommend her! Thanks so much to Liz & BDS!

I would 110% recommend BDS Driving School. my instructor Liz Mckenzie was by far the best. Me and my fiancée have passed first time, within a month of each other. I booked in for a 20 hour intense week course and passed first time. Liz made me feel so confident from the moment I sat behind the wheel and she really helped me find my confidence ( something I’ve always struggled with) Also felt like I’ve known her for years and felt more like a friend was teaching me. Thank you so so so much , I couldn’t have done it without you. Best money I’ve ever spent ☺️

BDS were really fabulous, I should of had my course at the start of lockdown, throughout the whole time they kept me informed of everything that they could. My instructor Liz was really patient with me, I don’t always follow the normal way of thinking and Liz adapted to my way of thinking which made my experience so much better, Liz always stayed calm during each session. I had Liz as a driving instructor and found that she is really good with everything, made me feel comfortable from the second I got into her car and thought me some new skills for driving and good tips. I managed to pass my driving test on my first attempt thanks to Liz and I appreciate everything she has done for me, I wish Liz all the best in the future and hope to see her again sometime.

I started driving lessons with BDS back in August 2020 but due to the pandemic it made it take longer for me to be ready for a test. Liz taught me the whole way through and I couldn’t thank her enough for all of the support she offered throughout! I definitely wouldn’t have passed or gained the confidence I did without Liz! I highly recommend the instructor Liz Holding for any intensive courses!! I've LOVED learning in her brand new Mazda 3 too with all the cool features😍 (auto handbrake, windscreen HUD, parking camera, etc) I had a 20hr intensive course over one week, and Liz gave me the confidence, skills, and knowledge to pass first time, having only ridden motorbikes before. If anyone is thinking about an intensive course, look no further. Get yourself booked in with Liz ASAP!!

I passed my test with BDS, my instructor was Liz and she was fantastic from the second I sat in the drivers seat, although I had plenty of past experience I was no where near the standard required and thanks to Liz’s knowledge and patience I was ready in time for my test and I successfully passed. Really good driving school! I had a 15 hour intensive course with Liz, who is one of the instructors. She was a great teacher from start to finish and helped me achieve a first time pass. I would recommend BDS to anyone really good driving school!

BDS were great for fitting me in with last minute courses and tests. Very efficient and helpful the whole way along and quick to respond to any messages. I was lucky to get a cancellation for an intensive course and a test date booked in a week before, which was amazing! I took lessons with Liz, who created a calm and relaxed space and taught me how to drive properly, not just how to pass the test. She is honest and friendly and I am very grateful for her patience with me, especially at the beginning as it took me some time to get the hang of it of the basics. Highly recommended and couldn't thank her and Donna at BDS for helping me achieve the freedom that driving brings.

I passed today after completing the 25 hour fast pass driving course with Liz my instructor. It was my 3rd test, after a year of driving lessons with a different driving school and a years break. I started out with little confidence but Liz believed in me from the start. I felt instantly at ease with Liz and had learnt so much within even the first hour, thanks to her wealth of knowledge and experience. She taught and communicated to me in a way that helped me remember the things I needed to improve on, which I really valued. My confidence quickly grew and I felt prepared for my test. I still had test day nerves but Liz calmed me down and reassured me every step of the way. I can’t thank Liz and BDS enough. Thank you!

Had a 10 hour intense driving course with Liz. She was is amazing and very knowledgeable. She’s very down to earth and there was no questions I felt I couldn’t ask. She notices every bad habit in the book and does everything in her tool kit to correct any mistakes you’re making. I would 100% recommend Liz for any lessons. BDS as a whole have been great from arranging lessons and communicating to find out info, the whole process has been seamless. Donna has been good at organising and arranging payments, deposits and planning time in for sessions so I’ve not had to worry or stress about anything other than my test! Absolutely amazing..... After having trouble with another company.... BDS managed to fit me in last minute My instructor was Mike he was very patient very supportive very clear with instructions..... Its amazing how much I learnt from him in such a short space of time.... Its a shame I didn't have my full journey with him... And today I passed my test first time... Passed my test today after a 20hour automatic crash course with Mike highly recommend 👌 I had previously done 2 tests prior and just didn't feel ready or confident. Well what can I say apart from the fact that BDS smashed it out the park on helping me pass my driving test ..my instructor mike was the driving force behind it all ..taught me everything i needed to know and was so helpful and guided me in the most professional way possible with a calm a relaxed atmosphere ..loved his little Hyundi i20 car so comfortable and easy to drive ..but yeah massive thanks to Mike for everything as without him a don't think I would have passed my test the guy is amazing and a credit to BDS ..thank you to everyone behind the scenes also as you all made this happen and help me pass my test ..thanks a lot guys ..kind regards Derek

My intensive course was with Mike Joannou, what an unbelievable man assisted me with what I needed, listened to where I felt I needed help and ensured I persevered with it. Kept me on course all week, any hiccups I had he made me repeat until it stuck. I passed with no minors and I couldn’t be happier. Mike also took time with me on a personal level and built a rapport with me regarding anything and everything really. Great experience, perfect result.

Mike Joannou is by far the best driving instructor in Blackpool I seriously recommend this guy on behalf of BDS. I passed first time 11.11am on Friday thanks to Mark, he really is a delight to learn from and such a peoples person and a lovely man.

Passed first try on an intense course with the Lovely Mike. I chose BDS as they had the shortest waiting list over any school around Blackpool and I am so happy I was given Mike. He is genuinely the nicest guy I have ever met. He is so calm and patient and chill. He explains things so well, in good detail. And when I had to cancel a lesson on the day due to sickness he was so lovely about it. Didn't make me feel bad about it at all. Just wished me to get better soon. He's just a big cuddly teddy bear and I've loved getting to know him over the week course. The company is very professional and helps as much as possible and finds ways around any issues that arise. Highly recommend.
